I found laser cutting to be a very interesting process and as I was new to it, I did find it somewhat difficult. Converting my model to be laser cut ready was the most difficult part.
As far as my model goes, I would have liked it to have worked on it on a different scale to ensure I’m getting exactly what I want.
For materials i would of liked it to have been in acrylic which would of gave it a more stable and appealing look, rather than in grey card, and for my other part of the model it was difficult to find a material that would do what I wanted, but in the end had to result to polypropylene, which I thought wasn’t ideal and the best choice but it gave a slight representation of what I was after.
